Red Roof Inn Redding

Location was extremely convenient for guests without access to a car, being a ten minute walk from downtown. The room was affordable and well-appointed and the hotel was able to accommodate our awkward schedule with a 3AM check in after arriving by train. What blew us away was how accommodating the staff were when we were faced with a tricky flight home - neither of us drive and a 7:20AM flight was our only option for getting back to Seattle, but we couldn't find or book a taxi anywhere in the city. The proprietor, Sam, very kindly offered to get up before 6am, collect us from the lobby and drive us straight to the airport, at no charge. It was an unbelievably kind thing to do and a great way to restore faith in humanity - we're extremely grateful and would absolutely recommend the hotel for future visitors.

Front desk manager was super nice. Room was larger than expected and had a fridge. It was clean and I appreciate that the floors aren’t carpeted.

The staff was attentive and readily available which is nice because at a property like this, you need them quite a bit to get settled. Ice machine, towels, etc.

The room was more then i could ask for.. Microwave fridg large bath sink area . Bed was a cloud

The property shares a parking lot with a delicious diner, and is a safe walking distance from a grocery store and a Starbucks. We had everything we needed for our trip. It also had a small pool which made the hot afternoon bearable. I could tell the room was recently remodeled. The front desk person was friendly and made us feel welcomed. Overall this was a great value stay.
